Admitted to practice law in Maryland
Ms. Eccles was first admitted to practice law in 1982. During the past twenty-five years, she has worked for governmental agencies, major corporations and law firms. Ms. Eccles represents and advises corporations and other business entities in regulatory insurance and insurance related law, health law, utilities regulation, corporate matters and contracts for corporations. Her experience includes: creating new corporations; complying with corporate formalities; negotiating, drafting and editing contracts; and obtaining licenses for insurance carriers, TPAs, PPOs, utilization management companies and risk purchasing groups.
Ms. Eccles began representing individuals with special needs four years ago and has negotiated with school officials, attended IEP and suspension meetings, handled mediations and tried administrative law cases.
Ms. Eccles also handles contracts for individuals and corporations.
Ms. Eccles has volunteered her time for various non-profit entities including The Arc, Austin Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts and the Washington Area Folk Harp Society. She is currently a member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA).
